SS Michael and Peter JNS is currently participating in the Food Dudes Initiative.
Food Dudes is a programme to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables and to enable children to enjoy eating healthy diets, and to create a healthy eating culture within schools.
This programme is managed by Bord Bia and receives financial support from the Department of Agriculture,
Food & the Marine and the European Union through the School Fruit Scheme.
The children are currently sampling the fruits and vegetables offered.
We had a fantastic time sampling all the yummy fruit and vegetables that Food Dudes sent into us. We really enjoyed all the healthy food and even created some art to go with it. We learnt a lot about how to be healthy and how to eat healthy.
