Our pupils celebrated World Book Day on March 5th!
The children dressed up as their favourite book characters and held a parade to show their costumes. Some staff dressed up too!
We held an assembly to talk about favourite books and the importance of reading and how much fun it can be. There were prizes for best costume in each class and all classes were commended for their great effort.
Our corridors are decorated with beautiful and interesting art work based on books, book reviews, author fact files and projects on various books.
The children received World Book Day book tokens to purchase their own book.
Many more activities took place in the classrooms and everyone really enjoyed the celebrations! 📚
