We read Cave Baby by Julia Donaldson while we were learning about Day and Night. We enjoyed the story so much that we created our own cave drawings using charcoal while pretending the classroom wall was a cave. We used the strange colours and funny additions Cave Baby made to his animals to inspire our imaginative animals in our paintings.
